Every person and team is here to do something that matters.
This is Strategic Planning
Journeying through StratOps is unlike bringing in a consultant. Oftentimes consultants will try to meet your complex problems or help build your creative ideas with pre-made solutions that were the same ones used on their last client. StratOps begins with gaining perspective around your organization, collaboratively building a new strategic plan for the future, then aligning your teams so you can achieve the vision, together.
People Help Build What They Help Create.
The experience consists of bringing the right people together to work through up to 27 conversations and tools. Based on the size of the organization this may include founders, senior leadership, board members, or team leaders.
It is not uncommon for larger organizations to begin with senior leadership and then opt in for additional experiences to ensure the plan is fully engaged throughout the company.

Common questions about StratOps
What does the StratOp experience look like?
- StratOps consist of 3 phases, that you would be guided through. PHASE 1: Preparation and Pre-work. This includes working closely with the person appointed the leader of the experience, collaborating on the agenda, and one on one interviews with ever team member who will be apart of the StratOps, PHASE 2: The experience can be customized for 3 full days or 6 half days based on what works best for your company. PHASE 3: Follow-up that includes training on how to use a Digitial platform to track progress, a private session with Senior Leadership to talk about structure, along with a 2 month and 10 month check-in to ensure the plan is fully being leveraged.
- Given the collaborative nature our StratOps experience is only available in-person, where we come to you.
How much does StratOp cost?
While not inexpensive, the feedback is 100% consistent that it’s worth the investment. Clients walk away gaining a full suite of management tools, a clear understanding of the finances and energies being wasted, all while creating an agreed upon plan on how to move forward. “The process has paid for itself multiple times over in the first year” is not uncommon to hear.
What’s the story of StratOps?
- The StratOps (Strategy + Operations) process was created by Tom Paterson. Peter Drucker called Tom the greatest business consultant in the world. Tom was Walt and Roy Disney’s personal consultant, helping them take their dreams and turning them into realities, and along the way throwing in a few ideas of his own like Space Mountain. The United States government sent Tom to open up trade negotiations with China. During his life Tom patented the pin technology for the ATM. StratOps has a rich legacy that continues today.
- StratOps has been proven in the largest corporations to the smallest of nonprofits. Entire sports franchises use StratOps to run their business and the government of the British Isles uses Stratops to run their island country.
